Great news! The 3G pitch at Rodborough School is going to be built this summer in time for all 700+ Milford Pumas players to start using it in the autumn.
Unfortunately due to raising costs since the sign off with funding with the FA we have seen an increase in costs for the project as a club have been asked to raise £10,000. £10000 sounds and is a lot of money but when we break it down it is a cost of £15 per player.
To help raise funds we have two fundraising initiatives on the go so please donate what you can...
10,000 Keepy-up challenge - 22nd June (COMPLETE - SEE THE CHALLENGE HERE)
U7 Pumas parent and ex-footballer Dan Wells will be doing the "10,000 keepy up challenge” Wednesday 22nd June. Please help Dan, click Donate Now and leave your messages of support below.
Milford Girls Shoot out! - 2nd July
Milford Pumas Youth girls teams will be taking part in a sponsored shoot-out. Please donate to support our players in their mission to score 2022 goals in just two hours. Please also feel free to come along and show your support!Dan Wells (one of the U7 Parents and ex-footballer has come up with a "keepy up challenge” to help raise money in a fun way.
You can donate on our fundraising page here.
Why not join the fun and get your Pumas player involved and set them them a realistic challenge and get sponsored by friends and family then transfer the final amount raised to Pumas to help with the 3G pitch fundraising. You can download a sample Sponsor sheet form for you to get the sponsorship with Pumas bank details included so you can transfer directly using reference ‘3GPITCH’. If you tweet a video of your Pumas player doing the challenge using #pumas3gpitch we will retweet it too!
Of course if you would like to organise other challenges by teams or age groups please do and then donate the money.
Many thanks for your help and donations towards this cause which should be in place for our current and next generation of Pumas players. A great addition for the community.
